08.25 – 09.00 Pick up by coach in Puerto de la Cruz (see pick up list)
09.00 -
  • Assemble at the meeting point Jeeps at the “La Paraguita Kiosk”
  • Leaving from the meeting point, we will head towards Mount Teide passing through a typical Canarian Village La Orotava. The first stop will be to visit a typical house in La Orotava “Casa de los Balcones” built in 1632. Guests will be given information about the excursion and have about 30 minutes free time to visit the house and to buy some typical canarian souvenirs.
  • We journey up to 2000 m above sea level through Agua Manza and the Stone rose to Las Cañadas – the vast crater of Mount Teide, with a coffee stop at Bar Teide; 30 minutes free time is given here to take photos of the spectacular lunar landscape and rock formations. Also a chance to learn about the last volcanic eruption and see the famous Rocks of Garcia.
  • Leaving the National Park travel trough the spectacular lunar landscapes, we journey to Araguayo for lunch. After lunch, we then go to the beautiful view point of “Doble Mirador” to see a major part and enjoy breathtaking views to Buenavista del Norte and Garachico. (Also with nice weather Puerto de la Cruz)
  • Travel through the winding roads en route through Garachico and on to Icod de los Vinos. There will be 45 minutes free time to discover the old city, the famous dragon tree and sample local liquors and wine
